We were treated to dinner tonight by George and Sherry - two of John's coworkers. They handed him a card with money in it and told him to take his family out to dinner. It was such a sweet and generous gift! We are so thankful that they did this for us! After John got off work, the kids and I met him at The Olive Garden and had a wonderful dinner out. Let me tell you, it was a nice treat to not have to cook. Breaks are appreciated from time to time. And the dinner there was good, as always!
After we returned home from dinner, we made a Christmas card holder so we could display all of the pretty cards we started to receive in the mail. Since we do not have a fireplace in our home, a string of pretty ribbon on the wall seemed to be a practical solution to our dilemma. Hang the card up with a clothespin and there we have it! Simple but I like how it turned out.
