Christmas 2009

This year, we spent Christmas at our home. It was hard not being back in the NW with our families (everyone was there but us this year and we missed them) but with us just going out there to visit this past summer and also with Andrew just recently having his surgery, we couldn't pull it off. We're looking forward to a fun filled holiday with them next year. But we had a nice relaxing day at home as a family and made the best of it. We invited over our good friends, the Smiths, and had dinner together. It was a great day to appreciate our many blessings and know of our Savior's love.

{And someone else was waiting...a little further down from the stairs}

{MERRY CHRISTMAS!}

{They were all so excited! Especially to see that Santa came. This is a picture of Aubrey wearing her new bathrobe from the Grandparents}

{And Jocelyn got a new doll from the Grandparents. Look at the shock on her face!}

{He LOVED the paper - I'm pretty sure more than his gifts.}

{This sweet little boy was my/our Christmas present last year and still brings me joy every day!}

{Some of the snacks before & after dinner}

{I forgot to take a picture with everyone & all the food at the table! So this was in preparation to Christmas dinner. We had: ham, sweet potato bake, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, rolls, stuffing, olives, fruit salad and then apple pie with ice cream for dessert. It was all so good!}

{Daddy & kids}

{I LOVE that I finally caught him on camera sticking out his tongue on the side of his pacifier. Such talent he has! :)}
