We're BACK!!

{Andrew looking pretty happy being back home!}

Our vacation came and went much too fast and we're home now! And while the time back in the NW with family was a blast and we already miss them, we were so thrilled to pull up to our home late Saturday night after 5 long torturing days in the truck...having traveled some 3,000 miles with John and the two youngest sick with nasty colds. More on our road travel later.

It hasn't slowed down since we got back either. Aubrey started school and was giddy getting back to a new teacher and in the learning atmosphere. (It's so fun watching her excited about school. Let's hope it lasts awhile!) This week she's back to piano lessons and soccer practices. John started a new job on Wednesday. Not the best transfer but hey, it's a job! Andrew turned 8 months while on our trip and everyday it seems he's getting bigger. He's such a sweet boy! Jocelyn is about to turn 3 years old and potty training is about to start - aggressively. Well, as aggressive as I can make it with her cooperation! Let's hope this attempt is the winner. And as far as I'm doing...I'm doing pretty good. Staying busy with the kiddos of course and getting home projects started AND completed. I'm still holding off on going back to school. I'm so close to being done but my plate is pretty full at the moment and I'm exerting a lot of my time and energy into the kids. I'm sure as they get older, their demands won't be as high. One day I'll be able to cross off my goal of achieving a Bachelors Degree. I'm not too worried about it right now.

Being gone for all of August means I have a TON of catching up to do! Honestly, it's going to take some time as I took, oh, about 1500 pictures! :) So bear with me. Part ONE will be posted soon so be on the lookout for some awesome pictures of Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone! :)

Oh I bet that drive was miserable with everyone being sick and all! I'm glad you guys had a good time. That's so great that Aubrey loves school...she's such a cute girl. All your kids are so adorable! Enjoy your mommy time...I think you've got the right attitude about it all! :)
