Spring Choir Concert

Aubrey has been one busy gal! School, early morning choir, soccer practices & games, activity days with church - and can't forget homework and family time! But tonight we were invited to her school's spring concert...with the Xylophone Ensemble and the 4th & 5th grade chorus teams. They did amazing! The songs were upbeat and catchy, which had Jocelyn bouncing in her seat much of the performance (and waving to her sister)!  The choir sang: How I Love My America, All Through The Night, Music Alone Shall Live, Raisins & Almonds, Don Gato (funny cat story!) and I Love The Mountains. The Xylophone Ensemble traded with the choir every three songs - each doing 6 songs total. Some exciting news is that Aubrey was given the last 5th grade Xylophone spot for next year. She was practically begging us to let her do it. With all of her other activities and studies, the condition was that it wouldn't take any extra time out of school or effect her grades. So she lucked out with that one and is SO SO SO excited! :) She will still be participating in the choir as well. A very musically gifted girl she is! And we're so proud of her accomplishments and talents! "We love you sweetie! You did great tonight!"

{Andrew didn't stay in the stroller long after parking it next to our seats. He was ALL over the place...took off his shoes and eating kix and goldfish. Hey, whatever it takes to get through an hour performance with minimal issues! :)}
