Lately, dates have been hard to come by for John & I. He's been going through a Staff Sergeant course for the past few months that results in daily exhaustion and usually leads him to come home and pass out. So for Valentine's Day, we decided to go out for breakfast the morning after the holiday which is also President's Day and his day OFF! I couldn't have been more excited that some close friends said they'd watch our kids while we got out for a little bit. I sometimes forget what quiet sounds like! :) That's when I know we need to get out more often.
So we dropped off our precious cargo...
and went to try out a fairly new restaurant in our area.
Of course while we waited, we had to take a picture to show proof we made it out alone!
Boy oh boy was this recommended hot chocolate DELICIOUS!!!
The food was yummy too but next time, I'll try something a little less sweet!
