Jocelyn is now sporting a new BIG GIRL bed! A trundle daybed at that. I knew this day would come but so soon?? I'm afraid so! We were in desperate need of taking the crib from her for Andrew's sleeping purposes. It was either that or buy another crib and I was NOT in favor of that idea. So. We drove to Ikea on John's day off - it being a Federal holiday (President's day) we were not the only ones that assumed this would be a great idea. Ikea was busting at the seems! John and I had fun perusing the ailes until our feet (and children) wore out. I think a total of 3 hours was all we could bear (hey - we HAD to stay for lunch!) and then we made the long trek back home in time for 'big sis' to get out of school. The bed took John a full evening to put together and then the long await was ready: would she like it? (YES!) would she stay in her bed? (so far YES! ... but ask me in a few days and it may be a different answer.) would she miss her old bed? (NO! not so far and too bad if she does.) :)
