It's hard for me to believe that our youngest child is already 17 months old today, but she's happy, healthy, and doing really well!! Here are some things to add since her last month's update that I wanted to document for her journaling - as well as for you to enjoy knowing about her and her growth. (Next month should be more interesting at her 18 month check up with her weight and height noted.)
* Has improved her independent walking - almost to the point of us running after her to catch up!
* Has delevoped the cutest and most contageous laugh
* Loves hide and seek
* Very interested in balloons and bubbles...could be due to the very few times she's watched a glimpse of "Curious George." :)
*Hair growing a lot longer with more curl in the back
* Still has a fascination for plastic bottles
* 1st year molers growing in (a total of 8 teeth still)
* Gets comments all the time from complete strangers on how pretty and blue her eyes are
* Came down with her first ear infection and after pinning her down for 20 doses of nasty medication for 10 days, was cleared with a good bill of health
* Cranky and clingy: two things she usually doesn't have a problem with but due to the last item mentioned...this is understandable!! :) Besides, her being a little extra clingy means I get more cuddles from my cuddlebug
* Finally eats sliced bananas and likes them - YES! We're on the road to eating and enjoying more and more solids
* Starting the transitioning period from bottle to cup for milk (has used cup for water since 6 months old)
* Still LOVES water - drinking and playing!
* Has figured out a little bit about the rule of gravity. What stays in most of the time comes out. She turns her sippy cup with water in it upside down and SHAKES until there's a nice big puddle on her tray and either tries to slurp it up or splash it from side to side or in most cases...on the floor!
* Curiosity at work BIG time
* Babbles a lot
* Likes to mimic (I cough...she pretends to cough)
* Has to put things back in it's place. Very meticulous about things. It's fun to just watch her learn and explore new things
* Loves to play airplane through the house (us running around with her flying in the air)

How cute, you are so good with all the milestones... this website needs to have an option to print out these pages for scrapbooks... Wow I swear you just had her the other day, time flys!
My daughter is obsessed with bubbles & balls. She called the moon a ball tonight. What a cute little swettie that you have...lucky mommy.
